Hello
I’m Selma Brkic, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) at Stepping Stone Family Services. I obtained a Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa and am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have worked in a variety of settings, providing mental health and substance abuse services.

I have over 20 years of experience in providing substance abuse services, community-based services, and outpatient therapy services. I work with culturally diverse populations and enjoy working with clients who have high needs, including substance use disorders and severe mental illness. My areas of specialization include:

About Me
In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors and spending time hiking, paddle boarding, running, and biking. I also enjoy visiting state and national parks with my family.
